Delete your Grouplet data
Grouplet: Emoji Puzzle Town is made by THEBE AI. It has no account of its own and we run no server that stores your game data, so you can delete everything yourself in a minute. If you prefer, ask us and we will help.
1. Ask us to delete your data
Email us at the address below with the subject “Grouplet data deletion”. You do not need to reinstall the app. We will reply within 7 days and complete your request within 30 days. We will:
- delete any data we hold about you that we can link to you, which is normally only the emails you have sent us (usage statistics and crash reports are linked only to random IDs, see step 5);
- guide you through deleting the data that Google holds for you (steps 2 to 4 below), because only you can sign in to your Google account and THEBE AI cannot access it.

2. Progress on your phone
Your levels, stars, cards, town progress and settings are stored only on your phone. To delete them, open Settings → Apps → Grouplet → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall Grouplet.
3. Google Play Games saved game and achievements
If you used Google Play Games, Google keeps a copy of your progress and your Grouplet achievements in your Google account. To delete them:
- Open your Play Games profile (on a phone: Play Store → your profile icon → Settings → General → Play Games profile).
- Choose Your data → Delete Play Games account & data → Delete individual game data.
- Select Grouplet and confirm.
You can also delete your whole Play Games profile there, or manage your data in your Google Account.
4. Advertising data
Grouplet shows ads through Google AdMob. Google collects your advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), app interactions and diagnostics to show and measure ads and prevent fraud, and keeps this data under its own retention policy. To remove the link between you and past ad activity:
- On Android, open Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads) and choose Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.
- Manage or delete ad activity saved in your Google account in My Ad Center and My Activity.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you can withdraw consent to personalised ads at any time in Grouplet: Settings → Privacy choices.
5. Usage statistics and crash reports
Grouplet sends usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase), crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and settings requests (Firebase Remote Config) to Google Firebase, which processes them for us. They are linked only to random IDs created for this installation of the app, never to your name or email, so we usually cannot tell which records are yours. They are deleted automatically: Google Analytics event data after 2 months and crash reports after 90 days. To break the link to past data straight away:
- Uninstall Grouplet or clear its storage (step 2). The app then starts with new, unrelated IDs.
- Delete or reset your advertising ID (step 4).
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, your choice in Settings → Privacy choices also applies to Google Analytics.
6. What is kept
- Purchases: the one-time “Remove ads” purchase stays in your Google Play order history, as Google requires for payments and refunds. Deleting your Grouplet data does not cancel it, and Settings → Restore purchases brings it back for free.
- Our records of your request: we keep a short note that we handled your request only for as long as the law requires, then delete it.
